RLM Evo – the new generation of free running impellers
with unrivalled high impeller and system efficiency 
Nicotra Gebhardt presents a new high performance centrifugal fan with no casing (plugfan) with optimised curved blade and impeller design and brushless DC motor.
The requirements for energy efficient fans are becoming ever more stringent. Nicotra Gebhardt now sets a new standard and presents an innovation with as yet unrivalled system efficiency: RLM Evo - the new generation of free running impellers in the RLM range.
RLM Evo uses less energy ensuring lower costs and less noise than any other free running centrifugal fan. Already now, the RLM Evo reaches a higher system efficiency than required by the EU’s ErP Guideline 2009/125/EC as from 2015. That makes the RLM Evo the first choice in free running impellers.
RLM Evo’s curved blades and impeller have been completely re-designed. The new hollow profile of the curved blades and the rounded, inclined blade leading edges ensure improved air circulation around the blades. The entire shape of the impeller was optimised using a real turbulence profile for the blades. This ensures that the impeller reaches as yet unrivalled high efficiency and takes the top position in aerodynamics.
The RLM Evo - as all the free running centrifugal fans by Nicotra Gebhardt - are available with particularly energy efficient brushless DC technology. Already today, our drives with brushless DCs reach efficiencies of efficiency class IE3 and higher. Traditional AC motors (IE2) are however still available.
